DON’T BUY! Kills small birds
I purchased this from FS (my favorite store) for my backyard birds - keeps squirrels out of the suet alright, but I’ve had to hand-extract 3 dead birds from inside the outer cage. Swallows/finches get inside the outer cage to eat the suet and, when startled, they become entangled inside the cage. Broken necks, wings. I let the first death pass as it seemed possible, but after the second one, I should have removed the feeder immediately. Waited until the third. This was in the span of about a month. There’s a duplicate product by MORE BIRDS -SQUIRRELX. Just stay away from products designed like this, please.
