1. Animal Protection Association

Founded in 1999, APA is proud to celebrate 26 years of saving lives. We are an all-volunteer, no-kill cat rescue based in Jeffersonville. Our mission is to rescue and find homes for the forgotten cats and kittens in our area—those who are homeless, abandoned, and mistreated. We believe every cat deserves the chance to live, love, and be loved. We give every treatable, rehabilitatable, and savable cat the second chance it deserves. We serve as their voice in the community. We raise 100% of our operating funds through fundraisers, donations and our thrift store, Purr-fect Treasures, in downtown Jeffersonville. Thank you for your support!

Happy Feet Pet Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping dogs and cats in need. We were founded in 2020 with a mission to provide second chances to animals, and in 2022, we proudly opened our rescue building in the Lansing area. This space allows us to house up to 6 dogs and 12 cats and serve even more animals in need.
Our rescue is run almost entirely by volunteers, including our two co-founders who continue to lead the organization with heart and dedication. We're supported by an incredible board of directors who help keep us organized, provide diverse perspectives on big decisions, and help shape the future of our rescue. In addition, we’re fortunate to have a passionate team of volunteers who assist with everything from events and adoptions to transportation, administrative work, and daily care of our rescue pets. We created this nonprofit to raise awareness on pet ownership, assist in temporary homes for dogs and cats needing a second chance, and help match our rescue animals with the best homes possible. Our top priority is each animal that needs help and we will provide a judgement-free and safe place for each animal and humans involved.
3. EthanAlmighty’s Blessings Inc

Ethan's 501c3 nonprofit foundation. We have created an amazing way for Ethan to help even more animals in his community. These are the animals that need help the most. They are suffering. They have a serious medical situation and the only thing preventing them from beginning the healing process and staying in their home where they belong, is finances. Ethan wants to help these friends by blessing them with the ability to stay with their family. EAB will help bridge the financial gap between what their family can afford and the veterinary medical costs.
Ethan's story began in the most horrific way. He was on the brink of death. His vet said he only survived because he had the strongest heart she had ever seen. Unfortunately, the reason you know Ethan's name is because he survived. So many animals that are mistreated like him, do not make it. Please help us continue Ethan’s journey of helping raise awareness for all these animals. Let's not let their suffering be in vain.

Founded on April 22, 2010, we are recognized as a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of homeless animals. Our mission is to create a no-kill community where every adoptable pet has the opportunity to find a loving home. We work towards this goal by promoting adoption, spaying/neutering, and responsible pet ownership.
We collaborate with local animal shelters, rescue groups, and volunteers to provide resources, education, and support. We advocate for humane treatment of animals, raise awareness about pet overpopulation, and actively work to reduce euthanasia rates in the community.

The mission of Alley Cat Advocates is to provide for the humane treatment of unowned cats in our region by directing a Trap-Neuter-Return program in the safest, most efficient and cost effective way possible.
Trap-Neuter-Return is accepted within the humane movement as the most effective way to stabilize and reduce the unowned cat population. It is also the most humane method. The basic strategy of TNR is to identify an unowned cat or colony of unowned cats, humanely trap them, spay/neuter them, and return them to their environment.
