Usage

PancrePlus Tablets should be administered as directed by your veterinarian. Wash your hands immediately after handling. Please consult your veterinarian before making any changes or discontinuing the prescribed dosing schedule.
PancrePlus Tablets are not intended to be mixed directly with food. After administering a dose, follow immediately with food or water to reduce the risk of damage to the throat/esophagus.
Manufacturer Dosage and Administration:
PancrePlus Tablets should be administered before each meal. Your veterinarian will determine the appropriate dosage according to the severity of the condition and weight of the animal.
Average dose/meal:
Dogs: 2 - 3 tablets
Cats: 1/2 - 1 tablet
Missed doses
Administer the dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with the regular schedule. Do not give more medication than prescribed or two doses at once.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place at a controlled room temperature not exceeding 95°F. Keep in a secure location out of the reach of children and pets. Keep the container tightly closed when not in use.
Exposure to extreme temperatures, light, or moisture can affect the integrity and effectiveness of medications. Always store medications properly (e.g., away from the bathroom, kitchen sink, or other damp places).
Side effects
As with all medications, side effects may occur. Potential side effects include, but are not limited to, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, excessive gas, and stomach cramping. These effects may be more common at higher dosages.
Contact your veterinarian immediately if you notice your pet has irritation and/or bleeding in their mouth and throat.
Notify your veterinarian if your pet experiences any of the effects described above, or if you notice any other side effects that are persistent or troublesome.
If you notice anything unusual, please consult your veterinarian.
Precautions

For use in animals only. Keep out of reach of children and animals.
Discontinue use in animals with symptoms of sensitivity or allergy.
Do not inhale (or allow your animal to inhale) any powder from this medication, as it may cause respiratory irritation and worsen preexisting asthma. Crushing tablets should generally be avoided.
Pancrelipase can cause skin irritation; avoid contact with mucous membranes and skin. Wash your hands immediately after handling.
Do not administer pancrelipase products to animals with a known or suspected allergy/hypersensitivity to pork products. Individuals with severe pork allergies should not handle this product.
Do not administer this medication to animals with a known or suspected allergy/hypersensitivity to it or any of its ingredients. Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Please inform Vetsource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known sensitivities or allergies, especially to medications and supplements.
If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, discontinue therapy and call your veterinarian immediately or seek emergency veterinary attention. Symptoms may include (but are not limited to): swollen lips, tongue, face, or airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; and widespread hives or itching.
Drug and food interactions
The following drugs* may have potential interactions with this medication:
antacids (containing calcium and/or magnesium), folic acid, and iron-containing products (e.g., ferrous sulfate).

As with all medications, please consult your veterinarian if you have any questions or concerns prior to use. Please ensure your veterinarian is aware of all medications, supplements, and over-the-counter (OTC) products that your pet is currently using. Your veterinarian may prescribe multiple medications, even if a potential drug interaction may occur. In these instances, your veterinarian may adjust the dosages or monitor your pet more closely.
