For general topical use:
Wear gloves and/or wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before and after applying the medication.
Cleanse the affected area(s) prior to application as directed by your veterinarian.
Using a clean finger or sterile device (e.g., gauze pad, swab), apply the prescribed amount of cream to the affected area(s) as instructed.
To prevent contamination, do NOT allow the jar (or the medication inside) to touch any surface besides the clean finger or sterile device used for application.
Dressings may be applied over the cream. Do NOT allow your pet to lick or chew the application site(s) for at least 20 to 30 minutes.
Avoid sensitive areas; do NOT allow the medication to contact your pet’s eyes, nose, or mouth.

Complete the entire course of treatment as prescribed, even if your pet's condition has improved. Failure to complete the full treatment course may cause recurrence or worsening of the infection. Contact your veterinarian ahead of time if your pet needs a refill.

Missed doses
Administer the dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with the regular schedule. Do not apply two doses at once or more medication than prescribed.

Keep the container tightly sealed when not in use and out of the reach of children and pets. Store away from heat and direct sunlight.
