Active IngredientsCapromorelin tartrateUsageEntyce® Oral Solution should be given orally as directed by your veterinarian. Gently shake before using.To administer Entyce® : Remove the cap, insert the dosing syringe, invert the bottle, withdraw the appropriate amount of solution. Return the bottle to the upright position, remove syringe, replace the cap. Rinse the syringe and plunger with water and leave apart to dry.Missed DosesGive the dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose, and continue with the regular schedule. Do not give 2 doses at once.Side EffectsSide effects may include diarrhea, vomiting, increased thirst, increased salivation, flatulence, nausea, abdominal discomfort, increased gut sounds, head shaking, and lethargy.Other side effects may occur. If you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian.Drug & Food InteractionsThe following drugs can potentially interact with capromorelin: amiodarone, diltiazem, cimetidine, erythromycin, ketoconazole, itraconazole, rifampin, and phenobarbital. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together.Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medication you are giving to your pet. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, even if a drug interaction may occur. In this case, your veterinarian may vary the dose and/or monitor your pet more closely.CautionsUse with caution in dogs with hepatic dysfunction or renal insufficiency. For use in dogs only. Entyce® should not be used in dogs that have a hypersensitivity to capromorelin. Not for use in humans. Keep this and all medications out of reach of children and pets. The safe use of Entyce® has not been evaluated in dogs used for breeding or are pregnant or lactating.Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform VetSource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; vomiting; widespread hives and itching.Adverse ReactionIf you are concerned that your pet has experienced an adverse reaction to this medication, please contact the manufacturer Elanco at 888-545-5973 or contact Vetsource customer service at 877-738-4443.StorageStore at or below 86°F in controlled room temperature.
